The Author
Meet Jason
Before I was an author, I was a part time farm kid with muddy shoes and a head full of questions. I spent a precious part of my childhood chasing frogs, learning how to pick strawberries (with varying success), and listening to the wisdom of my Grandma Harriett, a strong woman of deep faith who prayed on her knees at her bedside and didn’t believe in air conditioning.
The first Faith Critters book, The Robin and the Rainbow, began as a birthday poem for her. Just a framed gift from a grandson to his grandmother. But over time I realized the story held more than just a memory. It held legacy. And there are more stories to tell.
My goal with Faith Critters is simple: to create stories that help grow faith while enjoying meaningful, memorable adventures rooted in my own life, written with the kind of care you’d expect from someone who still believes in the power of a handwritten note.
